University of Delhi is celebrating its centennial of establishment and the International Conference on Academic Libraries (ICAL-2023) is being organized as part of centennial celebrations. The conference shall develop a vision for the next generation libraries which will contribute in nation building and give a competitive edge to the country in becoming a knowledge economy. The conference will provide an international forum to all stakeholders to deliberate, dwell and brainstorm upon the diverse and enormous role that academic libraries may play in enhancing the higher education landscape in developed and developing countries with particular reference to India by 2030. The scope of the conference is inclusive of: Knowledge Sharing, ICT Management, New Education Policy 2020, Digital Repository, Indian Knowledge System, Library and Research Ecosystem, Library-Faculty Collaborations, and User-centric Services. The conference will provide opportunities to identify the strengths and gaps in the academic library system, and to suggest new management models, mechanisms, policies, and national and international programmes for reshaping academic libraries into next generation libraries for higher education.
The conference will maintain its proceedings of high standard and hence would evaluate each and every paper in accordance with the international standards. Hence, all stakeholders who would like to participate in the conference by contributing their valuable knowledge are advised to go through the CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK to understand the thrust areas on which the conference intends to deliberate and accordingly make a choice of the relevant theme. The Conference will notice galaxy of internationally known experts who will deliver their key note addresses on variant topics.
A provision has been made for poster presentations of high quality research papers during the conference and publish the same in conference proceeding. The best poster, selected by a group of experts, will be awarded. For details please visit: Guidelines for Poster Papers
